I’m trying to see who shared my Instagram post, but I can’t find where to check it. Is there any way to see who shared it or where it was shared? I’d really appreciate any help.

- Open the post
- Tap the three dots
- Look for “View Story Reshares”
That’s the only real way to see actual usernames, and it only works for people who put it on their Story. Everything else (DMs, copy link, etc.) stays private.
You can’t. At least not the people who sent it in DMs. Only Story reshares sometimes show up, and even those disappear after a day.
You can’t see the full list of people who shared it. Instagram only shows you the total share count in Insights (if you have a Creator or Business account). The only time you can see names is when someone shares your post to their Story — then you get a notification or can check “View Story Reshares” within 24 hours.
