I’m having trouble finding the WhatsApp icon on my phone. It was there yesterday, but now it’s gone. I’ve checked all my screens and folders, but I still can’t find it. How can I get the WhatsApp icon back?

Quick checklist:
- Check app drawer / App Library
- Search for “WhatsApp” in the phone search bar
- If it’s not there at all → reinstall from Play Store / App Store
- Sometimes a system update or launcher change can hide icons too
Usually it’s just the shortcut that got deleted.
On Android this happens a lot when you long-press and accidentally hit “Remove”. Go to the app drawer, long-press the WhatsApp icon and drop it back on the home screen. If it’s completely gone from the drawer too, then it got uninstalled somehow.
You probably deleted the shortcut by mistake. App is still there, just not on the home screen. Check your app drawer.
Most common reason is you (or someone) accidentally removed it from the home screen. The app is probably still installed. Just open your app drawer / library, find WhatsApp, and drag it back to the home screen. On iPhone you can also search for it and add it again.
